On drinking
The WSJ recently in the lifestyle column was about mixed drinks. I basically like Zero Coke with good vodka and maybe some citrus juice.
I used to frequent a bar in my old city where one Bar tender would say, “one and done,” as question or recommendation. I said it was partly to get out of the house. She seemed to agree.
For some, especially men, booze can be a kind of medicine. U.S prohibition and A.A. stigmatized even moderate drinking. It’s true it can ruin your liver, damage your nevous system, and make you act odd.
