On drudgery
Just on the drudgery of paying bills today. Had to make sure there was enough in my bank account today to pay next month’s rent. There is, but I am running lower.
I have been living off savings and some credit card debt for a while.
There was a Police song with the line, “When the world is running down, you make the best of what’s still around.”
