A poem
“Cut” by yours truly
“Better to cut your losses,”
Said one of my bosses.
“Better not.”
Said an overseas friend’s Mom.
Didn’t matter where he was from.
In retrospect, it was dumb.
The friend eventually said explicitly he was homosexual.
They never spoke again.
