A poem
“Ad-here” by yours truly.
Ad-here. Stay with us.
Do not get on the bus to oblivion.
Glad you came, not to shame..
Add here.
Stay near.
Try to be positive,
And we are not speaking of blood type.

Two poem commentaries
On “Until the End of the Word” because it deals with impassioned. betrayal. It is one of my favorite songs by the group because it combines Bono’;s religious; belief with tragic betrayal. :”Waves of regret, waves of joy/ I reached out for the one I tried to destroy.” An article suggested the song is about Judas and Jesus told from Judas’ perspective. Anyway as with most U2 songs, you can not dance to it. Too much guitar..
I really liked “Space Age Love Song” by Flock of Seagulls as a young person. I think it capture the enthusiasm of romantic affection both in; words and music.. The band recorded a video recently with a concert in the background. I called a disk jock at the end of college to request it; be played. She eventually agreed..

A comment and two poems
On the phone with my Dad from prison: “I’ll take anything they throw at me.”
Garlic and suer kraut
Puti them on a hot dog.
And mustard on: Grey Poupon.
Just make sure it isn’t grey poop on.
Or 50 shades of poop.

Winter city and hills at night.
Birds alight.
So bright, much light.
Things in mind but can’t quite…..
Alright
On Mass and two new poems
From Mass today. “an eye for an eye” versus Jesus saying “turn the other cheek”‘ when struck on the face. I think there is difference between loving passivity and total forgiveness. To really be forgiven the perpetrator has to repent and ask for it.
“Advice” by yours truly
Do not have nightmares about paying. bills.
“Vow of Silence” by yours truly
Do not talk to strangers,
And they are all strangers.
“No! No strangers.”
Do not sleep in mangers,
And avoid dangers
Such as your own angers.
Two po.ems/jokes
“Blue Part 2” by your(s) tru(‘(ly)
Blue and white sky over the foothills.
I did’ not know why.
Foothills do not pay the bills.
Sometimes I still watch from window sills.
“Gold” by yours truly
Meet my new prostitute Gold.
She is worth the investment.
Even if you do not know what my lust meant.
Gold is better fhan Silver,
A woman who would not deliver.
Good-bye Silver!
Hi ho Gold!

Just a brief poem
‘”Need” by yourrs truly.
“Need to go for the day,,
Come what may.”

Ilove you, come what may.”
“There is much you do not wan for now.””
” Lst me come near and decide. Do not elide.”
On memory
Sometime at my age and life condition, I forget things and am disorganized. Some of that is my own .’fault, and I have b;een to confession for it.
But some of it ‘is the fault. of authorities who got away with it and were paid by the government for what they did..
I am not saying defund police. But some of them aggravated pre-existing nerve damage through physical and. emotional brutality. even though I was not doing anything wrong.. I am going to have to endure this. I am already 52,,so it will not exactly be a tragedy, but it is likely I wil die soon..
Two poems
“”Free Dumb” by yours truly
Free dumb of speech
To each their own, each their other.
But it may be best to keep it to yourself.
May be better for your health.
“Name” by yours truly
“Find another first name than mine for
The woman in your novel.
I am not the same as others
Who seem to have no bothers
And who have no shame,
If you use their real first name.”
“You have such a pretty name.
I mean no blame.
But glad you came.
It was meant as a compliment.
The time is spent.
It came, and it went.”
On taxis and/ accents
I like to talk to my Uber/Lyft/ taxi drivers. They do not seem to mind. When we go over rough speed bumps going back to my apartment in the parking lot, I sometimes mention a relative was jokingly nicknamed Speedbump by his buddies after falling asleep in a driveway and being run over by a car driven by a friend. He was okay. I do not think he was even really hurt.
On accents
One relative’s friend who is ethnically Indian but raised in the US and had no foreign ‘accent. At a bar one night, he started imitating heavy Indian accents. I thought it ‘was funny.
I do not care about accents if I can understand people.
My Philippina phone operators for taxi service have light accents, but I usually understand them clearly.
