On creative writing
It happens sometimes that people in my condition and who like to write poetry just forget what they were going to write down. Sometimes it is better. Haha.
On the possible new novella, it still stalls but would like to resume work on it and finish by the end of the year. It may bother some because the main couple will be conservative politicians,
Some thought I could have been a good politician when a teenager. But I felt a bit too wild for the work. Haha.

“Chirp, chirp, chirp,”
The schools of birds say.
They are so well organized
Like a military organization.
It must be an elation
To fly,
On secrets
There was a saying in the news business, “no secrets”. I was a bit concerned by it because total transparency can damage national security.
“No secrets” is also a motto in psychiatry and therapy, and of course in religious confession you are not supposed to hold back anything badly wrong you may have done from the priest.
I guess one of the problems is you start becoming self-destructive or hurting others if you keep a lot of secrets.

On gossip
In reporting, one of the pretty and smart reporters who uusually spoke quietly said “the walls have ears.” I could not even understand the language she was using, so I do not know why she was worried.
The traders I spoke with at the time usually wanted anonymity, but one good financial analyst in in the U.S. when I returned said something funny like; please use my name. I need publicity. Haha.
The tension between privacy and publicity is interesting.
On environment
Just a few comments on environment in Santa Fe. The elevation is so high here that wind sounds can get very strong as they did today,
It is bit spooky, but I like it because I have sensitive skin, and the breeze is nice.
On a song
Regarding the song by The Police “Don’t Stand So Close to Me,:” It is about a teacher who feels mutual attraction to a student but has to stop himself.
I felt the same way sometimes as a college teache;r with some students, and some even urged me to act on it.
But it seemed inappropiate at the time, and I am sure they found other men,

Sometimes clouds are so bright but soft and white
That with the sun they seem to blank out foothills.
And make a dessert.
On smiling
I think it interesting how some people smile easily and others. almost never.
i am the latter and will only smile usually for family photos, but I like to laugh at times.
My oldest brother told me once when I was in a tough time when young, “you don’t have to be happy.”
A break
Taking a break today.
Don’t want to speak of chores and health issues.
My young nieces seem good visual artists based on their cards to me.’
On memory
My Mother has dementia, It is quite sad;’ she was intelligent earlier in life. But she repeats herself a. lot. My Father takes care of her still.
Some say people get their main traits from their opposite-sex parent. I think it true in my case.
She gave me life, and I love her for it.
